I use all the basic binds. are you refering to tweaks to make the game appear differenly? like maybe squeeze a couple extra fps out of your system?
here is one to adjust the gamma in your wolf_Mp.cfg
seta r_gamma "1.92" //where 1.92 can be 1-5 ... 2 seems good*
i also bound this key
/bind k say **{GAG}USA is recruiting .. gamegeneration.net/forums**
*this tweak was jacked from bonedog :)
I expect hes referring to class binds & instant kill etc.... if so go check my post i did earlier in the Elite squad forum.

those binds definitely help Raven thats for sure. been mentioning them to Shras in hopes that he may add them himself. i did mine about a week and half ago finally and its just now starting to get fairly comfortable.

Thanks Raven, I was looking for someone to type it out for me, not just giving instructions :D

No problem roody. I talked to shras today about binding his keys and he actually did some of them. He sent me a copy of yours that you sent him. Looks good and gave me some ideas for mine.
Your welcome Voice! It was a little painful learning what and how to do it. :aha1blue :

I found this 1 quite cool ( thanks to skum ) handy if you're a Medic or a Lieut-
bind KP_MINUS "say_team ^5On my way!; play sound/multiplayer/allies/a-affirmative_omw.wav"
This 1 is handy for those impatient buggers-
bind w "say_team * ^5Please wait.....recharging *"
And this 1 we should have when rw is clogged up with all that talking-
bind x "say_team ^5I'm in position"

For those who still need a little info on binding I came across this site. It also tells u about editing autoexec.cfg so that ur binds load automatically when starting rtcw. :smoker

Ok here's a question... What's the difference between vsay and say? or vsay_team and say_team?
Ive always used say and say_team wit no probs.

I thought that 'vsay' was used for issuing the vocal commands like "Medic!" and "I Need Ammo", and that 'say' was used for text only binds, like a shortcut to Messagemode. Not 100% sure though m8. :)

Agreed Blade
"say ****" message mode Global (every player can see it)
"say_team ****" message mode Team only
"vsay ****" vocal command Global- "Great Shot"
"vsay_team ****" vocal command to your Team only-"Path Clear"
Remember to leave a gap between say or team before you put in what you want to display
Hope this sorts out any confusion
:D

Didnt know that worked...hmmmm
The way I do it is:
bind {key} "VoiceChat {talk}"
Replace {talk} with one of the following:
// Talk: Affirmative, Negative, Thanks, Sorry, Welcome, Hi, Bye, Oops, Greatshot, Cheer, Goodgame.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
bind {key} "VoiceTeamChat {chat}"
Replace {chat} with one of the following:
// Statements: PathCleared, EnemyWeak, AllClear, Incoming, FireInTheHole, OnDefense, OnOffense, TakingFire.
// Requests: Medic, NeedAmmo, NeedBackup, NeedEngineer, CoverMe, HoldYourFire, WhereTo.
// Commands: FollowMe, LetsGo, Move, ClearPath, DefendObjective, DisarmDynamite.
// Misc: IamSoldier, IamMmedic, IamEngineer, IamLieutnant.
===All of the VoiceChat ones work with TeamVoiceChat but not vise versa===
Caps are needed as they are shown.

OK, most of the stuff I was gonna post is up here already, but here's something I was playing around with last weekend. It binds one key to one of two actions. Each time you press the key, the alternate action is assigned to the key for the next press. In this instance it is used to swap from machine gun to pack (medi, ammo or dynamite), then from pack back to machine gun.
Put the following code into "autoexec.cfg" in your "X:\Wolfy\main" folder. This code binds "e" to the action, but you can bind any key you like. :)
//gun to pack/ammo/dynamite quick swap
set GunToPack "weaponbank 6; set PackSwap vstr PackToGun"
set PackToGun "weaponbank 3; set PackSwap vstr GunToPack"
set PackSwap "vstr GunToPack"
bind e "vstr PackSwap"

N1 Magny.......I have something simular to that but it's in my mp cfg
bind DEL "vstr sweap1"
bind END "vstr sweap2"
seta sweap1 "vstr ret1"
seta sweap2 "vstr sweap_2"
seta sweap_1 "weaponbank 5; set sweap1 vstr ret1"
seta sweap_2 "weaponbank 6; set sweap2 vstr ret2"
seta ret1 "weaponbank 3; set sweap1 vstr sweap_1"
seta ret2 "weaponbank 3; set sweap2 vstr sweap_2"
This does the same sort of thing but binds-
End to Medi packs, Dynomite or Ammo packs, and
Delete to Syringe, Pliers or Air strikes

I have a question though. How do you bind a key to say more than one thing with out getting the spam message on your screen. Shras was trying to bind his to do this and I was attempting to help, but we can't get it to work. The anti spam message keeps comming up.
Mantis

That's cos you're trying to say 2 or more things at the same time
Try this-
bind x "vsay_team followme;wait 100;vsay_team iamlieutenant"
If that still comes up SPAM then make the WAIT time longer :D (150-200-250 or 300)
