For some reason I am unable to send my finished work units although I can recieve new work units. :bang Any ideas?

Hmm. I'm not sure what the problem is, but I know a sort of solution...

if you have another computer, copy all of the files in your F@H folder (on the computer that won't send) and make a new folder for them on your other computer. Then go to the Start menu, go to Run..., browse to that new folder and select the F@H executeable. don't hit ok yet. Go to the end of the Run... line, hit space, add this text (minus the quotes) "-send all", and THEN hit ok. This will open up F@H solely for the point of sending all of your finished work units.

On the problem of your computer not sending them... check to see that the server that you'd send work units to is up. To do this, go into your log and find the names of the protein(s) that you've finished, but been unable to send. it'll be like p220_c20Murea or something or other. Then go to this page (http://vspx27.stanford.edu/psummary.html) and find the protein's server (in the IP Address column). then go to this page (http://vspx27.stanford.edu/serverstat.html) and see if the server's status is either: Down, Not Accept, or Offline. This would mean that you just need to wait until the servers come back online, and it's not a problem with your computer. They go up and down every now and then.

Pat, the server is apparently online and accepting but I still can't send. Another thing I didn't mention before is that when I try to send it slows my computer down and I can only move the mouse.
