Didn't get to see it but saw some things on the news. Didn't expect much from the O against Chi-towns D with Gates, Neal and Jackson gettting no PT if any and LT out too. They are our whole offense. Turner turned in an impressive performance at RB tho. Secondary looked much better or was it just grossman making them look good? I have yet to read the paper but Iheard it was the int and the KR that did the most damage not anything the Chicago offense did. Hopefully somebody DVR'ed it for me so I can watch it.

Watched the first half...... Defense looked like the Bears and the offense looked like the Bears ..... Grossman really didn't really impress me at all but according to Nance & Simms he WILL be the starter on September 10 no matter what ......... after that it's Griese's job to WIN.

SPeaking of Griese .... I heard one of those goofy NFL stats last night . Apparently he is "STATISTCALLY" better than ANY OTHER Bears QB EVER in franchise history...... that's wild!

Doesn't mean much BUT ....wild!

Rivers spent a good deal of time on his back and that poor 2nd string RB behind LT got banged around like a pinball. ouch!

That poor 2nd string RB put many a bear on his but on his 45 yard romp. He is also the one who put Indy away with his 80 yard TD run last year. I got to see some of the game. Other than the INT Rivers did Ok. D was awesome, secondary made some plays that I liked. Like I heard it was the INT and special teams that killed us. Without those there isn't much scoring by Chicago on our D. Even tho it was against us I was kinda dissapointed that Rex didn't do well. Griese didn't impress me, his scoring drive was aided by a 49 yard punt return and our 3rd string D. Not pleased but the outcome did not indicate anything serious to me other than our O-line needing to start the Rookie at left tackle and a lil more work together.

I guess we will have to wait & see :P

Actually Favre looked pretty good this eve VS Atlanta ....16 of 22, 2 TDs, ZERO sacks ..... AND his throws were all on the mark.... It's preseason but let's not start putting nails in the coffin just yrt

Personally I am still laughing at Favre's remarks about this being the most talented team since he has been there. I knew he was getting old for a QB, but I didn't think he was old enough to be senile. :rotflmao
