View Full Version : IE5 Problem.....

ok now ive reinstalled Windows & everythings back on im up & running at full wack again... but theres 1 little prob which is pi$$in me off & i could use some help with it.
basically IE5 doesnt wanna keep log in names etc... so every forum i goto i gotta log in each time... thats annoying. but, its cokin it up for my GameRevolution account & it just boots me back to the log in screen everytime i log in... even though it says welcome Mrp etc.
i thought it was a cookie setting but ive checked them all out & it looks good... anyone got any ideas on any other settings i could try..?

This is a great oppertunity to explore the advantages of a 3rd-party browser, like Mozilla with its Tabbed browsing, Opera with its speed or whatever alse is out there kicking IE arse:D

Set to 'accept all cookies', allow active scripting, enable or prompt for all java & activeX options, and lower your default security setting for your internet zone. You could also do windows update and get the patch to 5.01 which is better. DO NOT get 5.5! Go to 5.01 or d'load ver 6.

I remember my father had this problem with ver. 5 when logging into Ebay...going to 5.01 (eventually 6) fixed it.
