Im consistently running 2 machines that are folding and at times a third so i know MediocreFool can't be out producing me that way, but Im still generating very little points.
Any ideas?

I have no idea how the points thingy works. Maybe you get points based on how fast you complete it?

No, I think it's the other way round, you might get more points the slower you make WUs, which is why MF has more points then Roody. I'm just guessing mind. ;)

Well then if you get more points the slower you do one, then I should have like 20,000 points by now. It takes me a few weeks just to get one done.

My laptop is a 1 gighz 512 ram
Desktop is a 2000+ AMD 512 ram
These 2 run 24-7
The slower comps that are like only on for an average of 7 hours a day consist of
1 ghz 300 someting ram
550mhz 128 ram
btw you don't get more points the slower your comp is :-/

Ive been doing this for a year now, and I can honestly say the point system still confuses me.

OK here's an example, a work unit is like a car. Now the Porsche is worth the most but its still a car. You have to pay more and work longer for that Porsche.
Now you can get a "cheap" WU worth only 20 points because it didnt take as long to earn. Then you can get an "expensive" WU but it takes much longer to earn but its worth 240 points.
I hope this made sense, because sometimes only I can undertsand myself :D

I understand that I just dont understand how to get it to raise my points more? Right now I have no idea how to tweak my settings. In truth due to time spent based on what I know of my machines and time spent folding and the times you say you have spent folding there shouldnt be that kind of difference in our points.

To most people I would say spyware but I'm sure you don't have any on your computer so this is just a mystery

oops i just figured something.
if your computer is using more of it's cycles for things other than F@H, it'll go slower. so if john is using his machines less, he'll get WUs done faster.
they took out the -forceSSE flag, so no help there.
other than that... go linux? :p
