I did played with the older version of WarCraft. I believe most of my siblings started with the basics and a much older version. I was fun and very entertaining despite the overall design.

The very first game I played on my computer was warcraft. I'm not sure if I remember correctly, but I think it was warcraft 1. You built towns, mined resources, built farms etc.

It started my pc gaming addiction. As if I needed another way to play games.

Hi hi .. yeah .. that's the one .. such small maps .. I started playing it out of pure bordeom (was never into strategy back then). But I installed it and started looking around. In few minutes I had barracks and farms and was working on my army. My father got home and had a nice laugh (knowing I don't like strategy) and was amazed to see how into the game I was. That was addictive. From then on I got far from FPS and car games and started my strategy love. The next step was RPG. God I loved that game ;)

Yeah, I think I still have my copy of Warcraft 1 lying around.

You know, that game really wasn't as different from Warcraft II as some people seem to think.

All WCII did is make the maps larger, and the gameplay was a little more refined.

Oh yeah, and better graphics too of course!

It would be pretty sweet if Warcraft 1 was remade for Battlenet someday, much like Warcraft II was.

That was one of the first games we got for the computer. My dad was saying the computer wasn't going to be used to play games on. He said we had enough systems to play on. So my mom got the game. Gotta love her.:thumb

The sounds of WC1 is the same WC2, even the background music while the narrator is telling the story is the same. I and my brother played WC1 after we have played WC2 and we just played it out of curiosity. But it was rather more fun than WC2 because of the graphics.
