Well the U.N. has done it again. During a firefight in the Gaza strip terrorist gunmen were videotaped getting int eh back of a clearly marked U.N. ambulance to make their escape. Apperarently Israeli's have benn making this claim for awhile. So there you go you U.N. lovers, this is from the group you trust with YOUR well being. And on a side note how about those British soldiers being courtmarshalled for prisoner abuse in Iraq and making the prisoners have sex with each other. Hmmmm can't wait to see you spin this leon :rotflmao

You mean you don't believe him even when he shows no evidence to justify his statements?! What the world coming too? :( :D
Just checked on the British abuse story (here (http://www.usatoday.com/news/world/iraq/2004-06-14-brits-abuse_x.htm) is a small article of it) and although a number of investigations are being carried out, no-one of those involved are claiming they were ordered to do it by senior military officials, unlike the American abusers.

So you think the UN is helping the terrorists?
At times like these, I wonder what it is that gives our kind the motivation to argue with you people.

*Sums up all his energy reserves, takes in a deep breath - Iball is now ready to debate!*
Nicely spun there Leon :thumb
Of course he wouldn't admit to it - doesn't seem the best thing for him job/rep.-wise!
And anyway - we mentioned the British crimes in the same debate thread, didn't we - it's not as if we said "Sorry - ours don't count" or anything!

Sorry Warlord, couldn't find anything to do with the two topic you have mentioned at Fox News. I didn't spend that much time looking, because I have better things to do, so next time why not support your threads with links, instead of asking other people to find them?

Now the U.N. oversight commitee is under investigation for, of all things, CORRUPTION. Imagine that, the committee to stop corruption is itself corrupt. Things such as sexual favors and financial kickbacks were given to the people in the department and also the head of the department, Dileep Nair. Go to Fox News to get the story.

I thought it was fairly obvious the UN was gutless, always trying to be politically correct and not hurt anyones feelings. I mean, we don't want to hurt those poor suicide bombers' feelings right? I can't find an instance where the UN actually solved a problem on its own, they just argue among themselves. (and bash the US, but thats been said already.....)

oh, and isnt it great, a couple weeks back some middle eastern country was elected the human rights comittee leader. Thats like if someone had given the USSR a prize for economic growth......STUPID! If there is a region that has reputation for indescriminate ignoring of human rights even to its own people, its there. I think that was the UN meeting that we walked out of.
the UN was a wonderful idea, but a miserable reality.
