Since we dont have a hardware forum, i'll post this here...
If your running WinXP you wont be able to get any better than 60Hz refresh in OpenGL and 75Hz in direct 3D, reguardless what setting your video properties say. The limitation is within WinXP itself and has been permanently set my micro$oft.

Yeah, I noticed that as soon as I put Wolfy on after installing XP. Fortunately, I found that NVidia Refresh Rate Fix proggy (mentioned in Bonio's link) pretty much straight away, and haven't had any problems since. Just be careful if you haven't got an NVidia-based card.

the little proggy is on its way, but to be honest i didnt notice a problem with it. But then, im blind anyway! ;)

OK, refresh is kinda like frames per second. The less you have the more flicker on yer display you will have and it could give you headaches or make yer eyes hurt after a while. The more you have the smother and clearer things will look.
