HALO 2 CHEATS

Ok now here is a description of ALL vehicles.

Banshee
ONLY ship you can fly
Pretty fun to ride
Has boost
Can make loopings and barrels using the A button and directions
Fast blue plasma weapon
Bomb(SP only)
Strong vs Ghost, Sniper
Weak vs Scorp Tank, Rocket(one shot one kill)

Ghost
Has boost
Fast blue plasma weapon
Strong vs infantry,mortar tank
Weak vs Scorp Tank, Rocket(one shot one kill)

Warthog(machinegun)
1 pilot,1 gunner, 1 passenger
Strong vs infantry,banshee
Weak vs Scorp Tank,Rocket(one shot 3 kills)

Same as machinegun warthog except it fires SUPERQUICK red plasma

Has boost wich wont keep gunner from fireing
Not that strong or weak you only have almost no protection.

You can hijack it (dont ask don't want to give spoilers)

Others (just take place of the current guys

even if not in teams you can take any place used or not so you can have a blue gunner and red pilot (gunner cant hit own vehicle in that way)


Unlock Foundation Multi Player map

Finish the game one time in single player using heroic difficulty

Destructible Parts

As you probably already know Halo 2 has destructible vehicles. Good places to shoot the vehicles are on the hub cap for the warthog, on the wings for the ghost, and try to hit the tank with a rocket launcher pretty much anywhere.

Dual Wielding

These are the following weapons that can be Dual Wielded.

1. Human Pistol (Weaker)
2. Plasma Pistol
3. SMG
4. Needler (stronger)
5. Plasma Rifle
6. Covenant

When you dual wield you are bringing death to your enemies, but the bad thing bout dual wielding is that you can not throw grenades, Melee attack, and reloading takes much longer.

Tactics

If you are in a closed area (small room, hall way, etc.) then hold only 1 weapon, so you can throw grenades. If you are in a open area (big room, outside, forest, etc.) than have 2 weapons in hand because grenades will be useless.

Be The Gunner

Get to a 'Hog and jump in the gunner/passenger seat and let the marines drive. It will be x2 more effective than you driving (it depends on your skill).

Legend:
x:can dual

General:
All weapons without an actual zoom have some kind of zoom with no targeting reticle. Shooting pulls you out of it.

The battle rifle shoots 3 rounds at a time
The shotgun splash is actually the multiple bullets it sends flying
The rocket launcher can lock on on vehicles (or subsystems like on the cov transports) by holding the right trigger down.
The brute plasma rifle is a speeded up version of the conventional one but also overheats faster and its red. (i prefer normal version.)
The carbine is the covenant equivalent of the battle rifle which shoots one shot at a time.
The Brute shot fires grenades which can be compared with frags but with less splash and damage and it has a wicked blade to dish out some pain at a short distance.
The needler shoots needle that automatically homes in on target but can be easily avoided at long range but mortal when dual wielding at close to medium range. 7 or more needles in the body creates an explosion that will kill most targets.
The covenant sniper rifle can overheat while his human counterpart wont.
The fuel rod is a splash machine...better not be to trigger happy in close range with that.
The sword is by far my favorite weapon because you can "lock on" in a certain distance and leap for the kill. Someone a high ledge given you trouble? If you can lock onto him hes toast.



Tips for playing as an Elite

After the first four levels of Halo 2 (though it feels like one smooth ride!), you get to play as the Elite that was being punished by the Prophets in the intro! Yep you play as an Elite doing whatever the Prophets want. For the first level you are sent to a forerunner facility to quell the Heresy therin. The beginning is easy as you just kill grunts and Elites with the help of your grunt and elite pals, but near the middle of the level you face another enemy...the Flood!! This is when things get harder. After that you and your Elite allies go chase after the Heretic, cut the ropes holding up the forerunner facility as it free alls to the ground you must go back to that ship you saw and defeat the heretic but he has two holograms of himself attack all of them and dont let up because it is possible to vanish the holograms forever. After that you meet up with a little blue thing bent on destroying all life....guilty spark!!! The key to beating this level is activating you active camo, you can do this by pressing the white button but this does not ladt forever the little circle near your grenades is how much more time you have lefts until it runs out so watch it carefully! Use this to avoid battles!


How to take down the Scarab

While fighting in the city level, you have to take down the four-legged scarab which walks down a giant street with bridges above it. Grab the rocket launchers next to each bridge and run to the last one. Expel all of the rockets on the scarab to take out as many covenant as u can before u jump onto it. Time the jump so u land safely on the scarab's topside. Walk down the ramp and kill all of the covenant on the upper deck. To make the next part easier, make sure that u have a couple of grenades. chuck one down the ramp to the control room and take out the guards on the ramps. then go down and spray all of the elites and grunts in the room. the game then goes to video and u have defeated the scarab.

Not To be Mean or anything but why did you name it halo 2 cheats when there isent one cheat in the entire thing. Owell Sorry i got a few Easter Eggs to show you, and if don't want know about them then don't read this!!!!


Grunt Birthday Party Easter Egg:
complete the level 'The arbiter' on any difficulty. Then go back to the same level on Legendary. Play through until you reach the part where you must follow the Heretic leader in a banshee. Get into the banshee and fly straight down where you will find 3 large pillars that support the structure. On top of the middle one you will find a bunch of grunts dancing around an oddball. Pickup the oddball using x. Now whenever you shoot anyone in the head, they will explode with the force of a plasma grennade. The party is extremely tough to find so it may take you a while, but is worth all the trouble.

Rocket Sword Egg:

1. In any multiplayer level, have an empty rocket launcher, and a energy sword as secondary.
2. Take the rocket launcher out and and aim at a person. When the circle turns red press the "Y" button to switch to the energy sword, but exactly after press the trigger button as if you were firing the rocket.
3. The launches master chief/covenent like a rocket with the sword in his hand at the person you were aiming at and slashes at them with the sword. It is really hard to get the timing down but once you do, the trick is sweeto!

Hail to the Chief Egg:
1. On the last room of the level High Charity, run away from the brutes to where your holographic friend, Cortana, is waiting on a pedestal.
2. Jump on the pedestal and look down at your feet. Now crouch.
3. Cortana should be bowing down to you!

Skip Fighting to the Boss:
On the final level when johnston is in the scarab as soon as he blows the door off, fly as far to the back of the structure as you can and then find a place for the Arbiter to get out and then get to the back and soon or later you will end up in the final boss area, without even fighting your way to him

Verry Nice Neo, Must try the rocket thing on multiplayer!

Look, the trick to Halo is to think outside the box, I must have taken out 70 banshee's in Ghosts, and died les than 10 times, Ghosts have ether better defense, or better attack than banshee's. And Using fast vehicles and good driving you can easily take over the tanks. Depends on the terrain. Basically use everything as an advantage, Wish you could ride around in the prophets flying chair, Personally I think the Pope should get a flying chair. His hover chair will be powered by his prayer! jk ....Outside the box

Hey, Good stuff scery, But the person who wrote that did not know much about the Covernment tank. Its great vs Ghosts, faster fire than tanks, ok vs meny units (because of splash)

Well the Wrath(covanet Tank) is good against every thing but MC's, Eletes, and Banshee.
In a banshee, if your good enough, no lobs of crap should ever hit you, i took on 2 at once and i destroyed bolth of them, and i dident get hit onces, just learn how dodge very good and you will be unkillable.

Most people i have talked to say they don't like the banshee cuz they always get knocked out the air with rockets. Well wait till the rocket is right in front of you and Roll left or right, if you get the timing right you shoulden't get hit by rockets.

When playing sword only matches, you can prefourm a Lethal Sword Lunge, before your retical turns red, about 1/4 of a second, if you master this you will always get that extra 1/4 or a second, and trust me it does help alot

Well first of all i fix it:

Wrath
-An alternitive to the tank
-it is much faster than the tank and the boost helps get out of danger
-When Vs. Tank stay way back and get cover and just start loobing **** at them if you hit them its over
-Strong For Bombarding (true)
-Instant Death For Ghost
-Bad Vs. Banshee and thats about it
-if some one trys to hyjack it , aim your tank right at them and try to boost over them, if you miss get out of your tank and kill them, and get back in, and if they steal your tank get on it and steal it back!
-Only the Covanet in single player can use the secondary machine gun type things

The acrobatic abilities of the banshees are great vs. missiles, and the loop the loop move can be awesome for countering. I have dodged many a missile with them,

Thanks for the tip for the "Sword only" match, It may come in handy, knew the others.

Its hard but you can run people over when there in a warthog and you on a Ghost. But the attack of the warthog are great, and you can own if you have a laser warthog. (There totally Unba)
